Thomas G. Buchanan is an energetic, diligent and passionate trial lawyer in Little Rock, Arkansas. He is 100% committed to obtaining justice every day for every client and every case. He is “AV” rated which is the highest rating given by the prestigious Martindale-Hubbell Law Directory. Tom’s energy, diligence and passion for obtaining justice on behalf of injury victims has earned him the reputation as one of the most tenacious and skilled courtroom advocates.

Tom was born and raised in Arkansas and graduated magna cum laude from the University of Arkansas School of Law in Fayetteville, Arkansas. After obtaining his law license in 1999, Tom worked for an internationally renowned firm in Dallas, Texas, representing many Fortune-500 companies. When Tom had the opportunity to return to his home state in 2002, he settled in Little Rock to work for one of the state’s preeminent insurance defense litigation firms. In 2004, Tom switched sides of the bar to join one of the most respected law firms in which he limited his practice to representation of the seriously injured.

In October of 2008, Tom formed the Law Office of Thomas G. Buchanan. Founded on his experience in serious personal injury, products liability, premises liability, automobile accidents, employment law and business litigation, Tom offers Little Rock a sophisticated law practice with a small firm level of client care. His high professional and ethical standards are evident from the moment he picks up the phone. At Tom’s office, personal service means that every client receives the benefit of having an entire staff focused on their concerns every step of the way.

Tom’s tenacity, meticulous preparation and courtroom skill has earned him the confidence of his clients and peers in the legal community in and outside Arkansas. Experienced trial lawyers, Super Lawyers, and Trial Lawyers of the Year routinely refer cases to Tom or add Tom to their legal teams to increase the value of their cases. Trusted referring attorneys in and outside Arkansas make up a large part of Tom’s referral practice because he knows how to evaluate, prepare, and try cases involving serious injury with tactics and legal theories that are as current as the evolving economic climate. Tom’s success is due to the fact that he has the ability and resources to take a case to trial with confidence and determination each step of the way.

Tom believes that each case is as individual as the person involved. He keeps up with the most current legal information and has a solid ability to approach new types of problems that are unfamiliar to other attorneys. With the latest technology, his firm goes beyond the normal approach to efficiency. Special case management and mapping software adds to the ease of working as a team within the firm as well as making the firm one of the few virtually paperless ones. In house trial presentation software and equipment allow him to make the most impact with presentations in court. His committed, caring, and courageous approach to his clients’ problems make him the successful lawyer he is today.

Refusing to rely on past results, Tom only touts his recent outcomes since founding the Law Office of Thomas G. Buchanan. Since forming the firm, the Law Office of Thomas G. Buchanan has obtained over $12 million for injury victims in just three years. Tom is licensed to practice law in Arkansas, Missouri, Oklahoma, Pennsylvania, Tennessee, and can practice law in almost any state on a case-by-case basis.
